SCAD announces LBD Instagram contest

With the Sept. 28 opening of the Little Black Dress exhibition at the SCAD Museum of Art, SCAD is excited to announce an Instagram contest that will run through Oct. 19.
Post your best Instagram shots of your favorite little black dresses (either from your closet, a store or the Little Black Dress exhibition at SCADMOA) and tag them #LBD and #SCAD.
One winner will be selected at random by the SCAD communications team and will be contacted via Instagram.
The winner will receive a signed copy of André Leon Talley’s “Little Black Dress” book.

The SCAD Museum of Art will host its first lecture of the quarter Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 5:30 p.m. The School of Building Arts Lecture Series: “Constitutional Ecology” will feature David Green, AIA, LEED AP.

We’d like to welcome all of the new and returning students moving in this weekend. Admission to the SCAD Museum of Art is always free for students, but this weekend parents will be admitted for free as well. Stop by to see all of our wonderful exhibitions.
